My Top 5 Lush Products

I really like and appreciate what Batiste was trying to do here, which is create a dry shampoo that matches your hair color to eliminate the possibility of that Marie Antoinette powdery look. Yes, that Drybar! This is one of their first products and is designed to extend the life of your Drybar blowout Rice powder absorbs oil AND adds volume at the root. Detox also includes a moisturizing ingredient to avoid that straw-feel that some dry shampoos can leave behind.

I think as a dry shampoo, it's the best I've used so far. This is going to last me for a really long time. 115g of powder is a quite a lot! I should mention that using dry shampoo very often can lead to a lot of product built up on your scalp and you need a good shampoo to get rid of this. I tend to use this for emergencies, maybe once every other week. So using a clarifying shampoo goes well to clean up your scalp.

Many dry shampoos have full scents or none at all, but this powdered dry shampoo from LUSH was created with lemon, grapefruit and lime oils to give your hair a beautiful fruit fragrance. It works to absorb excess oils and keep your hair volumized without having to wash.

When I caught my first whiff of Lush's citrusy new No Drought Dry Shampoo reviews ($12.95), I wondered if it could handle the scent of eau de greasy roots — that scent somewhere between musk and the fragrant toe funk that manifests after one too many days without shampoo.

I'm always on the look out for a rival for Batiste, No Drought from Lush has been out for quite a while, but I hadn't used it, simply because the idea of an actual powder dry shampoo scared me. I've used other powders before and they've just made a sticky mess on my hair and I don't get overly greasy hair, I'm more of a refresh user. No Drought retails at £6.50 for 115g. A fair bit more than your regular aerosol cans.

I wasn't sure I was going to like this one because it was a white powder - but this stuff is probably the best dry shampoo I've ever used. My hair looked clean for a full week, and I can barely go two days without a wash. No little white specks, no issues running your hands through your hair - honestly, really good stuff.

Because this is a 100% natural product the ingredients in this are far less harsh than some of the ingredients that can be found in can dry shampoos. The main two ingredients are cornflour which is used to absorb the oil and then grapefruit oil to add a refreshing scent.
